The Taliban took control of Andkhoy district

Sources in Faryab report the fall of Andkhoy district in the province again.

The source said that around 8 pm yesterday, Andkhoy district fell again to Taliban.

According to the source, there was a possibility of casualties on both sides as a result of heavy fighting between security forces and Taliban fighters.

The source added that Taliban fighters currently control the bazaar and other parts of the district.

Andkhoi district of Faryab province was captured by security forces yesterday evening.
