Taliban attacks on three districts of Badakhshan repulsed

The Badakhshan governor’s press office reports that security forces have curbed attacks by Taliban fighters in three districts of the province.
Badakhshan Governor Dr Ahmad Bashir Samim said Taliban fighters had been defeated by security and defense forces in launching their pre-planned operations in Jurm, Baharak, Tagab and Tashkan districts, which were the center of gravity of the war in Jarm district.
Mr. Samim thanked the security forces, the ANA, the popular uprising and the country’s air force for Repel the attacks by Taliban fighters.
In recent days, however, Taliban fighters have intensified their attacks on districts in the country’s provinces, and in most provinces, people have mobilized to confront the group.
