Two robbers were killed in a clash with police in Herat

Herat Police Command reports that two robbers were killed in a clash with police in the province.

According to the newsletter of the Herat Police Command, last night, several people in the Mehri High School Road area committed armed robberies from the Fifth Security District and fled the area.

The thieves were pursued by the police and clashed with the police in the second and fourth districts, the newsletter added.

According to the newsletter, one police officer, including two thieves, were killed and one of the thieves was wounded in the clash.

Herat police said the men were involved in many armed robberies in Herat.
