In the past 24 hours, 165 Taliban fighters have been killed and wounded in 12 provinces

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 165 Taliban fighters have been killed and wounded in 12 provinces in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that 107 Taliban insurgents were killed, 58 wounded and a large quantity of weapons and ammunition destroyed in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.
According to the statement, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Laghman, Logar, Paktika, Khost, Balkh, Faryab, Helmand, Nimroz, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Takhar and Kabul provinces.
The statement added that 11 different types of mines were also discovered and defused by security and defense forces in these provinces.
