Taliban attacks on Ghazni city repulsed

Ghazni Police Command reports that Taliban attack on Ghazni belt checkpoints has been repulsed by security forces.

The Ghazni Police Command said in a statement that Taliban fighters carried out offensive attacks this morning on security checkpoints in the Ghazni city belt of the third, sixth, fifth and first security districts, which were repulsed by security forces.

The bulletin adds that Taliban fighters fled the area after reinforcements arrived.

According to the newsletter, Taliban fighters were killed in the clashes.
