Unidentified individuals assassinated a religious scholar in Kapisa

Security sources in Kapisa say a cleric has been killed by unidentified gunmen in the province.

Kapisa police spokesman Shaqayeq Shooresh said that this morning, unidentified anointed men killed a religious scholar in the second part of the province’s mountains.

Mr. Shaqayeq named this religious scholar Qari Jan Agha and added that he was the Imam of Zafar Mosque in the second part of Kapisa Mountain.

According to him, a police investigation has been launched to arrest the perpetrators of the assassination.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
