187 Taliban fighters were killed in 15 provinces

The Ministry of Defense says 187 Taliban fighters have been killed in the past 24 hours in 15 provinces.

The ministry said in a statement that 187 Taliban insurgents were killed and 112 others were wounded in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.

According to the newsletter, Taliban fighters were killed, wounded and arrested in Kunar, Logar, Ghazni, Khost, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Faryab, Balkh, Jawzjan, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan and Kapisa provinces.

Also during the clashes, 14 mines were discovered and defused by security and defense forces.
