Nearly 100 people have been killed and injured in floods in Nuristan
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that nearly 100 people have been killed and injured in floods in Nuristan province.
Ahmad Tamim Azimi, spokesman for the Ministry of State for Accidents, said that nearly 100 people were killed and injured in floods in Kamdish district of Nuristan province last night.
Mr. Azimi adds that women and children are among the dead and wounded.
According to Mr. Azimi, as a result of these floods, nearly 70 residential houses and two large bridges have been destroyed, and there is a possibility of increasing casualties and financial losses.
