254 Taliban have been killed in the past 24 hours

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 254 Taliban fighters have been killed in the last 24 hours in 13 provinces of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that 254 Taliban insurgents were killed and 97 others were wounded in clashes and attacks by defense and security forces.

According to the ministry, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Ghazni, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Jawzjan, Balkh, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Kabul and Kapisa provinces.

According to the ministry, 13 mines were also discovered and defused by security forces during the clashes, and some weapons and ammunition of the group were destroyed.
