A woman was shot dead by the Taliban in Balkh

Saif Rahman Rahmani, governor of Zari district of Balkh province, told media that Taliban kidnapped a 45-year-old woman then took her to the area under their control and shot

Mr. Rahmani added that the woman was the mother of seven children and lived near the police headquarters in Zari district

According to Mr. Rahmani, the Taliban refused to hand over the woman’s body and, with the mediation of the local people, agreed to hand over her body.

The same has happened in Balkh over the past month, but the Taliban have denied the allegations and said they are gathering information.
