Helmand’s Washir district governor was killed in an armed attack

According to a local source in Helmand province, Mohammad Zahir Haqyar, the district governor of Helmand province, was killed by unknown gunmen.

Sources said that two of Mr. Haqyar’s bodyguards were wounded in the attack
