Twenty-four security forces were killed in two Taliban attacks in Kunduz

Kunduz provincial council chairman Mohammad Yusuf Ayoobi said security forces had suffered heavy casualties in two Taliban attacks in the province.

Mr Ayoobi said a Taliban attack on a security base in the Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz had killed 13 security personnel and four insurgents.

On the other hand, in another Taliban attack in the Bagh-e-Shirkat area of ​​the third district of Kunduz city on the security forces checkpoint, 6 security forces were killed and 3 others were wounded.

According to Mr. Ayoubi, the Taliban were also killed in the attacks, and two civilians were also killed.

In recent days, the positions of government forces in Kunduz province have increased in recent days, and these attacks have often resulted in heavy casualties to the security forces.
