44 civilians killed and wounded in three days in Afghanistan

The Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC) says eight civilians have been killed and 36 others injured in explosions and armed attacks across the country over the past three days.

According to the commission, bomb blasts, magnetic bombs, attacks by unidentified gunmen and mortar shells on homes have killed scores of civilians over the past three days.

The commission said the incidents took place in Kabul, Uruzgan, Baghlan, Nangarhar and Helmand provinces.
