Two were killed and 57 were injured in two traffic accidents in Herat and Balkh

Security sources in Balkh said that one person was killed and 25 others were injured in a traffic accident in Chahar Bolak district of the province.

Balkh police spokesman Adel Shah Adel said the incident took place last night (Monday, 25th January) on the Jawzjan-Balkh highway near Chahar Bolak district.

He added that one man was killed and 25 others were injured in the collision between a passenger car and a truck, including 21 men, three women and one child.

Mr. Adel called the reason for this accident the driver’s carelessness.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and 32 others were injured in a traffic accident in Herat province last night.
