Japan is providing $ 122.2 million in aid to Afghanistan

The aid is part of a pledge pledged by the Japanese Foreign Minister at the Geneva conference, the statement said.

Japan’s foreign minister promised at the Geneva conference that the country would provide $ 180 million in aid to Afghanistan from 2021 to 2024.

The Japanese embassy in Afghanistan has said the aid will pave the way for 17 development projects in Afghanistan.

Prior to that, Japan provided assistance to Afghanistan in the areas of security, agriculture, rural development, education, health and development projects, and with $ 122.2 million, its total assistance to Afghanistan since 2001 has reached $ 6.9 million. arrives.
