The director of forensic medicine of Jawzjan Public Health was arrested on charges of taking bribes

Jamshid Rasouli, spokesman for the Attorney General’s Office, wrote on his Facebook page that the director general of forensic medicine of the Jawzjan Department of Public Health, who was also in charge of the Disability Establishment Commission, had been arrested on charges of taking 11,000 afghanis.

 Mr. Rasouli added that the man was arrested in a joint operation by the prosecutor’s office and national security.

According to Mr. Rasouli, the man is currently in custody.
