An explosion in Kandahar injured 7 people

Kandahar security sources say seven security forces were wounded in a car bomb blast in the Arghandab district of the province.

Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Nasser Barakzai said the incident took place near a police checkpoint in the Kohak area of ​​Arghandab district at 7:30 a.m. today (Saturday, February 16).

He said seven security personnel were injured in the blast and taken to hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
