Fire in Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi port of Farah province

Local sources in Farah reported the burn of fuel tankers at a fuel storage depot in the port of Sheikh Abu Nasr in Farah province.

According to sources, the fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. today (Saturday, March 6).

Local officials are said to be trying to contain the blaze and have coordinated with neighboring countries.

This comes after a major fire at the customs office of Islam Qala border town in Herat.

According to statistics provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, more than a thousand vehicles were destroyed in the fire.
