Three polio vaccine workers were killed in Nangarhar

Security sources in Nangarhar report that three polio vaccine campaign workers have been killed.

According to these sources, these three people were killed in two separate attacks by unknown gunmen this morning (Tuesday, March 30) in the city of Jalalabad.

Farid Khan; Nangarhar police spokesman confirmed the incident and said that the cause of the incident was still unknown.

The polio vaccination campaign, which began yesterday, is expected to vaccinate 9.6 million children under the age of five.
