A retired army colonel was assassinated in Kabul

Security sources in Kabul reported the assassination of a retired army colonel by unidentified gunmen.

The sources say that the colonel was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Monday evening (5 April) in the 12th security district of Kabul.

According to this source, the gunmen fled the area after the assassination of this colonel.

No one or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
