In the past 24 hours, 104 Taliban fighters have been killed in the country

The Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that 104 Taliban fighters were killed and 68 were wounded in different parts of the country.

According to the statement, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces in Ghazni, Zabul, Herat, Farah, Badghis, Faryab, Balkh, Helmand, Badakhshan and Kandahar provinces.

The statement also added that 168 rounds of mines planted by Taliban fighters had been discovered and defused by security and defense forces.
