38 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in different parts of the country

A statement from the Ministry of Defense said that 24 Taliban fighters were killed, 14 were wounded and four others were arrested in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.

According to the statement, this Taliban fighters were killed and wounded as a result of clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces in Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Balkh, Zabul, Ghor and Kandahar provinces.

The statement also reported the destruction of large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
