Over the past week, 79 civilians have been killed and injured in the country
According to the Independent Human Rights Commission, 39 civilians have been killed and 40 others injured in separate incidents in four provinces over the past week in Afghanistan.
The commission said in a statement that these peoples had been killed and wounded in 12 incidents such as magnetic mine explosions, roadside mines and armed attacks.
According to the newsletter, these people were killed and wounded in Farah, Parwan, Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces, and the commission blamed the Taliban and unknown individuals for the incidents.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the newsletter.
In the newsletter, the commission also called for a ceasefire and a settlement of the dispute through negotiations aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace.
