Senior government officials visit Ghazni
Some government sources have reported the visit of some senior security officials to Ghazni province.
According to the source, these officials is Hamdollah Moheb, Security Council Advisor, Shamim Khan Katawazi, General Mohammad Yassin Zia and Acting Minister of Defense, Hayatullah Hayat, Acting Minister of Interior, Ahmad Zia Siraj, General Director of National Security, Lt. Gen. Nazar Ali Wahidi, the provincial deputy director of the General Directorate of National Security, and Gen. Abdul Sabur Ghaneh, the deputy chief of security at the Interior Ministry.
The purpose of the visit to Ghazni is to review the security situation, review military demands in the province and improve security.
The visit of security and military officials to Ghazni province comes at a time when the province has witnessed heavy clashes between security forces and Taliban fighters in recent days.
