A former jihadi commander was killed in Takhar

Security sources in Takhar report that a former jihadi commander was killed in a Taliban attack in the province.
Khalil Asir; Takhar police spokesman says Mullah Piram Qul; A former jihadi commander was killed in a Taliban attack in the Rustaq district of Takhar province yesterday (Saturday, May 1).
Mr. Asir adds that three other members of the commander were wounded in the attack.
However, some sources close to Mullah Piram Qul said that he died as a result of a roadside mine explosion when his car collided with the mine.
Takhar is one of the northeast provinces in the country where Taliban fighters are active in some districts.
