The Taliban set three conditions for attending the Istanbul summit

The Taliban have set three basic conditions for attending the Istanbul summit.

In an interview with VOA, a senior official of the group said that the group’s representatives would attend the Istanbul meeting if the meeting was short, its agenda did not include decisions on important and key issues, and the Taliban presence was low.

“Our leadership has suggested that the Istanbul summit should not last longer than three days,” the Taliban official said.
