Davood Laghmani started working as the governor of Ghazni

The Independent Directorate of Local Authorities (IMLG) said in a statement that Mohammad Davood Laghmani had been appointed governor of Ghazni and had started work.

The statement said that Mr. Mohammad Daud Laghmani was appointed as the new governor of Ghazni province at the suggestion of the Independent Directorate of Local Governance and by order of the Supreme Office of the President.

Earlier, Mr. Daud Laghmani had been appointed as the governor of Faryab province by the Independent Directorate of Local Governance, in response to which the residents of the province staged protests and did not allow Mr. Laghmani to enter the province.
