A mortar shell hit a wedding party in Kapisa, killing six people

Kapisa police say 6 civilians were killed when a mortar shell hit a wedding party in the province.

Shaqayeq Shooresh; Kapisa police spokesman said a mortar shell fired by the Taliban in the Tagab district had hit a residential house where the wedding was taking place.

Mr. Shooresh added that six civilians, including children, were killed and 10 others were injured in the incident.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
