A market in Achin district of Nangarhar was set on fire by the Taliban

Local officials in Nangarhar report that Taliban fighters have looted and set fire to the market in Achin district of the province.

Ataullah Khogyani; Spokesman for the Nangarhar governor said that Taliban-affiliated militants first looted goods in the market last week and then set fire to the shops.

Mr. Khogiani adds that the amount of damage caused by this incident is unknown.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
