Eight people have been killed in a traffic accident in Badakhshan

Local sources in Badakhshan report that 8 people were killed in a traffic accident on the Maimi-Feyzabad road.

NikMuhammad Nazari; Sangavi, the governor of Badakhshan, said that at around 8 am today (Wednesday, June 12), a Land Cruiser traveling from Maimi to Faizabad in the Rigarwan area of ​​Maimi district deviated from the road.

Mr. Nazari added that the car had 12 passengers and as a result of its overturning, eight of its passengers, including children and women, drowned in the Sea of ​​Five.

According to Mr. Nazari, four people were injured in the accident and efforts are underway to retrieve the bodies of eight other passengers.
