223 Taliban fighters were killed during army operations in the country

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 223 Taliban fighters have been killed in clashes in different parts of the country.
The Taliban fighters were killed in clashes with security and defense forces in Nangarhar, Logar, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Jawzjan, Helmand, Takhar and Baghlan provinces, the ministry said in a statement.
The bulletin added that 126 fighters of this group were also wounded in these operations.
According to the newsletter, as a result of the security forces’ operations in these provinces, a large amount of weapons and ammunition of this group were destroyed and 20 mines planted by the group’s fighters were discovered and neutralized by the army forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
