The capital of Dolatabad district of Faryab province fell to Taliban fighters

Local sources in Faryab report that the capital of Dolatabad district of the province has fallen to the Taliban.
Abdul Ahad Ilbek; A member of the Faryab provincial council said that the Dawlatabad district of the province had fallen to the Taliban around this morning.
Mr Ilbek added that more than 60 security and defense personnel were stationed in the district, some of whom were able to leave the district, but the fate of some was unknown.
According to him, last night the army planes that came to rescue the trapped forces in this district could not land in this district.
Meanwhile, about three days ago, Qaisar district of the province also fell to the Taliban.
