10 people were killed in an attack on a Mine Clearance Camp in Baghlan

The Interior Ministry reports that Taliban fighters attacked a Mine Clearance Camp in Baghlan.

The ministry said in a statement that Taliban fighters attacked a Mine Clearance Camp at around 8pm last night (Tuesday, June 8).

The incident took place in Sheikh Jalal area of Central Baghlan district, the statement added.

According to the statement, 10 minesweepers were killed and 14 others were injured in the incident.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
