An army helicopter crashed in MaidanWardak province

The Ministry of National Defense announced in a statement that an army helicopter had crashed in Maidan Wardak.

A MI 17th Army helicopter crashed in Jaghtoi district of Maidan Wardak province, the ministry said in a statement.

According to the announcement, the cause of the crash was technical problems

According to the statement, three people were killed and another was injured in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.

But the Taliban claimed in a statement that the helicopter had been shot down by their militants.
