The bodies of Fatima and Tayyeba were identified by their relatives

The Afghan Film Department has announced the identification of the bodies of two girls by their family who went missing after yesterday’s explosions in western Kabul.

Sahra Karimi, Head of Afghan Film Department, wrote on her Twitter page today that Tayyeba Mousavi and Fatemeh Mohammadi, two girls who disappeared after Consecutive explosions in western Kabul yesterday, have been identified by their families in forensic medicine.

Ms. Karimi added that the two young girls had just started working in AfghanFilm.

Two consecutive explosions took place in western Kabul yesterday, according to the Interior Ministry. The first blast took place in the 13th district and minutes later the second took place near Ali Jannah Hospital in the 6th district of Kabul.

Ahmad Zia, deputy spokesman for the interior ministry, said seven people had been killed and six others injured in the blasts.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
