Nomads attacked Behsaud Maidan Wardak district with the support of the Taliban

Local sources in Maidan Wardak reported that nomads attacked to different parts of the second part of Behsud district with the support of Taliban fighters.

Haji Ahmad Jafari, a member of Maidan Wardak Provincial Council, said that this morning (Tuesday, June 15), nomads and Taliban fighters attacked the village of Espichah in the second district of Behsud and clashes were still ongoing.

Mr. Jafari adds that for several days now, nomads have been attacking various villages in the second part of Behsud with the support of the Taliban.

According to him, only the local forces are currently fighting against the Taliban and nomadic fighters and no reinforcements have been received from the government.
