135 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Helmand

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 135 Taliban fighters, including seven prominent commanders of the group, were killed and wounded in Helmand province.

The ministry said in a statement that the defense and security forces, with the support of the air force, launched a targeted operation in the Greshk and Nahrsiraj districts of Helmand province yesterday, killing 60 Taliban fighters, including seven senior commanders.

The killed commanders of this group named Qarib Agha, Imran, Baryali, Nematullah, Abed, Haji Wroor and Mullah Abdullah.

According to the statement, 75 fighters of this group were also wounded in this operation.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
