The central Baghlan sugar factory fell to the Taliban

Sources in Baghlan say that the Taliban have seized Baghlan sugar factory.

Some sources in Baghlan province say that as a result of the attack of Taliban fighters on the checkpoints on the fifth side of central Baghlan, around 9 am today, they captured the town of Sugar Factory in this province.

Meanwhile, Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban, wrote on Twitter that as a result of the attack, the city of the sugar factory fell into the hands of the group’s fighters and a large number of tanks, rangers and ammunition were seized by them.

But Baghlan police spokesman Javed Besharat denied the Taliban’s claim and said  the capture of the Baghlan sugar factory was untrue.
