Two people were killed in a shooting in Kabul

Kabul police say two people were killed when they tried to steal a security official’s money.

Basir Mojahed, Kabul Police Press Officer, said that around 2:30 pm yesterday (Friday, June 18), two people were killed and two others were wounded in a shooting in the third district of Kabul.

Mr. Mojahed added that a security official and another person had been arrested in connection with the incident.

According to Mr. Mojahed, the police officer claimed that the two men had been killed in a confrontation with him when they tried to steal his money and weapons.

According to him, the injured were taken to the hospital and the police investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
