About 500 people mobilized against the Taliban in Parwan

Local sources in Parwan say that about 500 residents of the province have been mobilized to fight against Taliban fighters in the Ghorband valleys of the province.

Fazluddin Ayar, the governor of Parwan province, said that hundreds of people were currently fighting against Taliban fighters on the front lines in the Ghorband valleys.

According to him, the people of this province have always supported the system and the government and stood against the enemy with all possible means.

Some of these forces are said to be close to Abdul Zahir Salangi, a Parwan MP.

The group has recently taken control of most of the country’s districts as a result of escalating fighting between security forces and the Taliban.
