Ghani consulted with political and jihadi leaders about his trip to the United States

According to the announcement of the Presidential Palace, a meeting chaired by President Ghani has been established in Chaharchenar Palace this morning.

In this meeting the House has consulted on the forthcoming visit of President Ghani and his entourage to the United States, and this visit has been called important.

The members of the meeting stressed that the peace process is a priority of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and all subsequent steps in this process will be taken with the necessary understanding and consensus.

The White House had said in an official statement that US President Joe Biden is scheduled to meet with President Ghani and Dr. Abdullah, chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council, on Friday (June 25).
