385 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in counter-attacks by security forces

The Interior Ministry says nearly 385 Taliban fighters have been killed and wounded in the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement that 248 Taliban fighters were killed, 137 wounded and 12 others were arrested in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.

According to the newsletter, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Faryab, Balkh, Helmand, Kunduz, Baghlan, Badakhshan and Kabul provinces.

The newsletter added that as a result of these operations, 42 different types of mines were discovered and neutralized in different parts of the country, and a large amount of weapons and ammunition of this group were also destroyed.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
