33 Taliban fighters were killed in Balkh

The Ministry of Defense says 33 Taliban fighters have been killed in clashes in Balkh.

The ministry said in a statement that the air force targeted Taliban militants yesterday in the Kaldar district center and the Toqai area of ​​Shurtipa district in Balkh province.

As a result, 33 Taliban were killed and 19 others were wounded, according to the statement.

The statement added that a large amount of weapons, ammunition and equipment of the group were also destroyed.
