400 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in 15 provinces

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 400 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in 15 provinces of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that 258 Taliban insurgents were killed and 142 others were wounded in fighting with security and defense forces.

The Taliban were killed and wounded in Nangarhar, Paktika, Logar, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Jawzjan, Helmand, Takhar, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Baghlan and Kapisa provinces, according to the ministry.

Also in these operations, 16 mines were discovered and neutralized by the security forces and a large number of weapons and ammunition of this group were destroyed.
