Several Taliban commanders were killed in Wardak Wardak

The General Directorate of National Security reports that several commanders of the Taliban were killed as a result of the operations of the intelligence forces of this department.

The statement said that during the planned operation, the forces of the General Directorate of National Security killed a large number of Taliban fighters along with several senior commanders of the group.

The statement added that the intelligence forces of the General Directorate of National Security were learned of a Taliban insurgency gathering in Mamaki village of Maidan Wardak province.

According to the statement, as a result of an operation by the operational forces of this department, all members of the meeting were killed and large quantities of weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

The directorate assures all citizens that it monitors all movements and activities of terrorist groups.
