The Taliban captured Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul

Sources in Zabul province say that Shahr-e-Safa district of the province has fallen to the Taliban.

The source, who did not want to be named, said the district had collapsed after heavy fighting between security forces and Taliban fighters.

He added that Taliban fighters had also taken control of all districts in the province.

Security officials have not yet officially confirmed the fall of the district.
