In the past 24 hours, 293 Taliban fighters have been killed and wounded in 11 provinces

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 293 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in different parts of the country.
The ministry said in a statement that 191 Taliban fighters were killed and 102 others were wounded in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.
According to the newsletter, Taliban fighters were killed, wounded and arrested in Ghazni, Khost, Zabul, Badghis, Balkh, Sar-e-Pul, Helmand, Nimroz, Kunduz, Takhar and Kapisa provinces.
The statement added that 23 members of the group were also arrested as a result of operations by security and defense forces, and a large amount of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
According to the newsletter, 14 different types of mines were discovered and neutralized by the security and defense forces during these operations.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
