271 Taliban fighters were killed in different parts of the country in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 271 Taliban fighters were killed and 162 others were wounded in the last 24 hours in 14 provinces of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that 271 Taliban were killed and 162 others were wounded in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.

The Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Nangarhar, Maidan Wardak, Khost, Kandahar, Farah, Herat, Badghis, Sar-e-Pul, Jawzjan, Nimroz, Helmand, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Takhar and Kapisa provinces, according to the ministry.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
