Mohammad Tahir Zahir was appointed governor of Bamyan and Morad Ali Murad was appointed governor of Daikundi

The Independent Directorate of Local Governance has announced that Mohammad Tahir Zahir, the governor of Bamyan province, and Murad Ali Murad, the governor of Daikundi, have been appointed.

In separate declarations from this office, it is stated that based on the proposal of the Independent Directorate of Local Governance and Decree No. 1331, the High Presidential Official; Mr. Mohammad Tahir Zahir was appointed as the governor of Bamyan province.

In another statement, the office added that based on the agency’s proposal and Decree No. 1330, the High Presidential official; Mr. Murad Ali Murad was appointed as the governor of Daikundi province while maintaining his military rank.

Previously, Seydanur Rahmati was the governor of Bamyan province and Rashida Shahidi was the governor of Daikundi province.
