In the past 24 hours, 191 Taliban fighters have been killed in nine provinces

The Ministry of Defense says that 191 Taliban fighters have been killed and 154 others wounded in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Paktia, Ghazni, Khost, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Helmand, Nimroz and Takhar provinces.
The ministry says a large amount of the group’s weapons and ammunition were destroyed in the clashes, and that 14 different mines were discovered and defused by security and defense forces.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
